The Electric XB-508 SPORT
The XB-508 Sport Electric Bicycle (Motorcycle) is the ultimate alternative for commuters who need a quick way to travel, but do not want the expense of operating a vehicle or motorcycle. The XB-508 Sport is now our top of the line Electric Bicycle Moped. Since pedals can be used, the XB-508 is classified as an electric bicycle but the pedals do not need to be installed. This allows it to operate like an electric moped, however, you do not need to register it or carry a drivers license to operate it.
The XB-508 is loaded with nearly all of the same features you will find on our electric motorcycles, yet the XB-508 costs 75% less.
The difference between the XB-508 Sport and our XB-500 model is the sport look, the dual headlight system and the large 550 watt motor.
The power of the XB-508 electric bicycle comes from large 550 watt brushless rear hub motor installed in the center of the rear wheel. This is in turn powered by 4 large high power batteries (48 volts) that will last 3 years or more and can be re-charged more than 500 times. The electric bicycle will travel 20 - 25 miles on a single charge.
The XB-508 has been tested carrying 300 lbs and two people can ride at once. We recommend riders always wear a helmet when riding any size electric bike.
Four 12 v high-capacity maintenance-free batteries (48 volts) powering a 550 watt motor and this bike is available in blue and red.
