SECURITY
TheBestElectricScooter.com
uses 128-bit encryption key over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to provide the highest level of security. At the 128-bit level, cryptographers consider this encryption, based on the RSA algorithm, impossible to crack as it would take millions of years with the fastest computers to try all the combinations.

PAYPAL VERIFIED
We understand you want your online transactions to be simple and secure. For your convenience, we offer product payment using all the standard credit cards through PayPal. Along with ease of use, we know how important security is for you when doing transactions online. To increase security, we have verified our account through PayPal so you can feel safe when using their system to make payments to us.

PHONE ORDER POLICY
We accept phone orders. If you feel uncomfortable about placing an order through our secure ordering system, you can send your contact details via our Contact Us page and one of our friendly staff at Customer Service will call you at an appointed time to take your order over the phone.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
We collect the email addresses of those who place orders, communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information.

Any information we collect is NEVER given, shared or sold to another company, entity or organization. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website, to process the transaction and to possibly contact consumers for future marketing purposes.

15 DAY RETURN POLICY
We want all our customers to have a great time using their new Electric Scooters, so please choose carefully.

If you wish to return merchandise purchased from us for a refund, this must be dome with 15 days from delivery. Review the terms and conditions listed below and then go to X-Treme Support to open a support ticket and request an R.M.A. (Return Merchandise Authorization). Within 1 - 2 business days of submitting your request, a team member from X-Treme Support Department will contact you with further instructions as returns for refund must be pre-authorized.

Return Terms and Conditions
Customers are responsible for returning merchandise at their own expense and the return shipment must be initiated within 15 days of the purchase date.

Merchandise must be received in 100% new, re-sellable condition. Merchandise is not eligible for refund if it has been ridden, worn, used, abused, damaged in any way. Merchandise must arrive complete (including warranty cards, manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.) and in the original packaging.

Preparing your product for Authorized R.M.A. return shipment:
  1. Re-pack the merchandise securely in its original packaging, include the original contents of the box; warranty cards, Manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.
  2. Include a copy of your invoice.
  3. Include a copy of the RMA notice you have received from us via our support department help desk.
  4. Clearly print your RMA# on the return shipping label (on the outside of the box).For your protection we recommend all returns be sent via UPS, Federal Express, DHL or other courier that issues a tracking number. We recommend that the shipment is insured. The customer is responsible for damage or loss during return shipping.
  5. Freight collect and COD packages will not be accepted.
At the discretion of X-Treme Scooters, returns which do not follow the above guidelines may be refused and require the customer to pay return shipping and handling fees, or an additional processing fee may apply. If accepted, items returned without an RMA number are subject to an additional 15% restocking fee.All shipping charges are non-refundable.

Once merchandise has been accepted for refund, a credit will promptly be applied to your card.

BACK ORDER POLICY
On the infrequent occasion that a model or color is out of stock, we do accept back-orders. You will be contacted if your item is backordered and you will be notified if your item is discontinued or no longer available. Our Sales Department will be in close contact with you and will advise when the Scooter is in stock and ready to be shipped.

SHIPPING POLICY
Our supplier, X-Treme Scooters operates a large warehouse facility located in the Midwest near Des Moines, Iowa. Once your funds are cleared by PayPal, the items are usually despatched the same day. All items ordered within the U.S. are ground shipped via FedEx, DHL or R & L Carriers depending on the weight and type of order and your order will usually arrive to anywhere in the USA within 4 business days.

For deliveries in the lower 48 states, FREE SHIPPING applies to all items ordered in the Scooter, Sea Scooter, Ride On and Pocket Bike categories i.e. the cost of delivery from the warehouse to your door is included in the price of the item.

Due to the size and weight, a $50.00 fee applies to each item ordered in the Bicycle, Moped and ATV categories for having your order shipped directly from the warehouse and delivered to your door.

There are a couple of zip code exceptions....

>>> For certain New York zip codes (100-104, 110-119, 150-196) as well as Martha's Vinyard (025-026), an additional service charge of $100 applies.

>>>  For Hawaii and Alaska, all orders must be shipped by air and those costs are additional and not included under our free shipping. (We do not offer COD.) Air Rates can be found on the FedEx website by searching for rates from our warehouse in Iowa (zip code 50208) to your zip code.

We make a Signature Required Service available to all our customers at the time of purchase for a minimal fee. If this service is not purchased, neither X-Treme Scooters nor TheBestElectricScooters.com will not be responsible for packages that have been left at the recipient's door and consequently lost and/or stolen.

DAMAGED GOODS POLICY
All scooters, bikes and mopeds purchased through TheBestElectricScooters.com carry a full manufacturer’s (X-Treme Scooters) warranty.

Note: the term “scooter” is used to mean all products manufactured by X-Treme Scooters and sold through TheBestElectricScooters.com including but not limited to scooters, bicycles and mopeds.

WARRANTY
X-Treme Scooters offers a 30-day limited bumper-to-bumper manufacturer’s warranty on all scooters and accessories on all models. There is a 90-day warranty on selected models.

The warranty starts the day the scooter is delivered to the customer. This warranty covers factory defects and defaults only. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. X-Treme will pay for standard shipping service costs on the first warranty shipment only. Any additional warranty parts that are needed will require the customer to pay all shipping costs.

 BATTERY WARRANTY
X-Treme Scooters offer a full 6-month even trade warranty on defective batteries. There is a 1-year battery warranty on selected models.

If any battery should become faulty within the specified warranty period, the battery will be replaced free of charge. X-Treme requires that defective batteries be returned to them for exchange and they do not pay for the shipping fees to return the batteries to them. However, they will pay to ship the replacement batteries back to the customer. To answer further questions about warranties, please contact X-Treme's Support Department by opening a ticket only and a friendly representative will quickly call back.

LIMITED WARRANTY DETAILS
What is covered & what is not covered:

1) Scooter Body: Damage to any plastic/fiberglass part that is a result of shipping is covered only if it occurred during shipping. Shipping damage must be reported immediately after delivery to be covered under warranty otherwise, the plastic/fiberglass body parts are not covered under this warranty. If, after careful inspection by our Technical Support Department it is determined that the scooter was damaged during shipping (digital photos may be required by e-mail), X-Treme at its discretion will supply free of charge the necessary replacement parts to repair the damaged scooter. X-Treme will not pay labor charges to install such parts.

2) Tires, tubes & kick stands: These items are NOT covered unless they are damaged as a result of shipping.

3) During the first 30 days of the warranty: X-Treme will replace any defective part free of charge and free of shipping charge to the end user of the scooter. X-Treme may require certain parts to be shipped back to them before replacing those parts. Shipping costs back to X-Treme must be paid for by the end user / customer. Call tags will never be issued.
